2021 April PAD Challenge: Day 4

Write a poem every day of April with the 2021 April Poem-A-Day Challenge. For today’s prompt, write an active poem.

I was recently asked about the 2020 November PAD Chapbook Challenge results. Just want to let anyone know who's waiting patiently (thank you) for the results that they are coming this month.

For today's prompt, write an active poem. That could be a poem comprised of active (vs passive) verbs. But it could also be about exercising, playing a sport, or keeping your mind active. Any activity would do, I suppose, even watching the paint dry.

Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

beneath the willow tree waving in the wind
while wondering whether i would
