2025 Get Started Right Writing Challenge: Day 6
Get your writing goals started right in 2025 with the second ever Get Started Right Writing Challenge. The sixth day of this writing challenge involves getting social.
For the sixth day, let's get social. I mean, quite a few people have been dropping comments below on the daily, but let's reach out beyond the comment box. Let's make friends in the "real" virtual world, whether that's Facebook, Twitter/X, Bluesky, Instagram, Threads, or wherever. If you have a social account or many and would like to connect with people, leave your handle(s) below.
There are surely many negatives attached to social networking, but I personally have created so many positive relationships with other writers over the years that resulted in speaking opportunities, publishing opportunities, and real motivation and inspiration, which I don't think can be discounted at all.
Just a quick note: If you leave URLs for your handles in the comments below, they'll likely be caught by our spam filters, but don't hold back. I'll be checking regularly on Monday and Tuesday to manually approve such comments.
Note on commenting: If you wish to comment on the site, go to Disqus to create a free new account, verify your account on this site below (one-time thing), and then comment away. It's free, easy, and the comments (for the most part) don't require manual approval.
