New Agent Alert: Josh Foreman of LCS Literary Services

Literary agent alerts (with this spotlight featuring Josh Foreman of LCS Literary Services) are golden opportunities for new writers because each one is a literary agent who is likely building their client list.

Josh fell in love with books at a young age and never looked back. A Cleveland native and graduate of The Ohio State University, he spends most his time lost in the pages of stories. That love of reading led Josh to the publishing industry, and he has been overjoyed to join the LCS Lit team.

Josh Foreman

There are so many incredibly talented and creative people in this industry, and Josh is excited that he has the opportunity to work side by side with some of them. When Josh isn’t working, he can be found playing with his golden retriever, Pippa, watching the Reds game, or doing his Wordle.

Currently Seeking

Josh is primarily interested in voicy character-driven stories that keep the reader guessing. He is interested in fantasy of all kinds. He wants to see everything from smutty romantasy to dark fantasy.

He is also interested in seeing more horror in his inbox. He would specifically love to see a super smutty horror novel that addresses big societal questions in a unique and compelling way. Other than that, in Josh’s opinion, the weirder and more deranged your horror the better.

Josh is also dedicated to uplifting diverse and traditionally under-represented voices, but especially neurodivergent and disabled writers. As somebody with a disability, Josh knows first-hand the struggle of finding your way in this industry and he hopes to be able to work with authors of disabilities to help get their stories into the world.
