2023 Character-Building Challenge: Next Steps
So you’ve completed the 2023 Character-Building Challenge, now what? This post shares next steps and a March 20 deadline.
If you're reading this post, I'm assuming you've completed the 2023 Character-Building Challenge. If that is the case, then congratulations! I hope it helped you build a character or two.
But there's also that extrinsic prize: All people who successfully completed the challenge are invited to send me a character profile. I will take a look at all the character profiles I receive and highlight a few in a future post on the site.
How do I submit it?
This part is important, because I have a busy inbox and mislabeling something may increase its chances of getting lost in there. So do the following:
- Send an email to rbrewer@aimmedia.com
- Use subject line: 2023 Character-Building Challenge Profile
- Include the name you used in the comments on the site (so I can verify you did participate in and complete the challenge)
- Either paste your character profile in the body of your email OR include as a Word doc or PDF
- Send in by 11:59pm on March 20, 2023 (Atlanta GA time)
And that's it.
When Will the Post Go Live?
This is my first time doing this challenge, so I'm really not sure if this is possible, but I'm going to shoot to have my favorite characters post go live on March 31 (probably in the evening).
And I believe that's it; so I look forward to meeting everyone's characters.
