Here's my attempt at a Blank News poem:

"No News Is Good News"

Whether it's the weather or politics
or the kid down the street, no news

should be good news, right? Only
the news is usually happening

well before it is reported--so breaking
news (of the bad variety) doesn't

really happen when it seems to
happen. Rather, it's already happened,

and the news isn't a good or bad
thing really but an opportunity to do

better or a chance to remember
that things continue to happen.
