Well, here we are. Crazy as it seems (to me anyway), we're on the final day of the writing part of this challenge. I'll post a Next Steps post tomorrow, but you can use the next few weeks to collect and revise your poems into a collection. More details tomorrow.
For today's prompt, write a "let the moment begin" poem. Life is filled with moments--good and bad--and they all have to begin sometime. Share yours (in poetic form) below.

Re-create Your Poetry!
Revision doesn’t have to be a chore–something that should be done after the excitement of composing the first draft. Rather, it’s an extension of the creation process!
In the 48-minute tutorial video Re-creating Poetry: How to Revise Poems, poets will be inspired with several ways to re-create their poems with the help of seven revision filters that they can turn to again and again.

Here’s my attempt at a Let the Moment Begin poem:
“Showdown”
The one clenches his fists & bares his fangs.
The other grips his stake & narrows his eyes.
The one lets his cape flow wildly in the wind.
The other loses his baseball cap unflinching.
The one has lived this moment many times.
The other is about to live or about to die.
