2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 18
For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today’s prompt is to write a Thursday poem.
Believe it or not, we'll be two-thirds of the way through this challenge after finishing today's poem. So it's not just any old Thursday, but having said that...
For today's prompt, write a Thursday poem. I've long pondered how Thursday seems to be the most overlooked day of the week. Monday is the start of the work week; Tuesday, for many, is the real start of the work week; Wednesday is the middle; Friday leads into the weekend; and well, the weekend is the weekend. But poor Thursday is hiding in the shadows. Come at this prompt as you will, but let's give a little poetic love to Thursday.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Thursday Poem:
“On a Thursday”
What can you do on a Thursday
that can't be undone tomorrow?
Some people work, and others play,
but is that it for my Thursdays?
No one I know has much to say
or ideas that I could borrow...
What can you do on a Thursday
that can't be undone tomorrow?
