2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 19
For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today’s prompt is to write a future poem.
For today's prompt, write a future poem. The poem can predict the future, take place in the future, or, I suppose, be about stock futures (maybe). Flying cars and robots are fair game, but so are future feelings and emotions. Happy endings, bittersweet endings; they're all up for grabs today (and into the future).
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Future Poem:
“to my future self”
if there's one thing i've learned
it's that the past always looks better
with the passage of time & i've yearned
plenty for the good old days but there's
no greater moment than the one you have now
so admire me from a distance & keep moving somehow
