2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 29
For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today’s prompt is to write a next poem.
For today's prompt, write a next poem. While this may literally be the next poem you write, it doesn't need to be about the process of writing a poem. It could be about the next love, next job, next meal, next adventure. Whatever you're doing now, think about what's next and write about it.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

month i'm sure because next

obscured by happenstance &
whatever else might travel down
the road & anyway & anywho
next november will be better
a la mode
