Here’s my attempt at a Mad Poem:
"Fishing on Mad River"
A good place for trout
and to watch out for
all manner of planes
while plainly hoping
for a bite on the line
and a moment's respite
from the worries of
the world that often
make it feel like an
upstream swim but
here there's a chance
for the rush of wind
and water and perhaps
a catch.
