2022 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 30
For the 2022 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. And now we’re on Day 30.
Today is the final day of the prompting part of this poem-a-day challenge, but it's not the end of the challenge. Tomorrow afternoon (my time), I'll share next steps for this chapbook challenge here. Let's just say that I'm going to give you some homework.
Also, be sure to return for our weekly Wednesday Poetry Prompts here until our next daily poeming challenge in April 2023.
For today's prompt, take the phrase "And (blank)," replace the blanks with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem. Possible titles might include: "And Then He Said," "And What About the Weather," "And Now for Something Completely Different," and/or "And All the King's Men."
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at an And Blank Poem:
“And That's All I Have to Say”
At least for now,
looking out my window
and seeing deer cross the yard
chased off by an approaching car
with a passenger I wish to see
who's come to visit me.
