2023 April PAD Challenge: Day 7
Write a poem every day of April with the 2023 April Poem-A-Day Challenge. For today’s prompt, write a small poem.
Before we jump into today's prompt, I just wanted to share that I'm almost finished with figuring out the 2022 November PAD Chapbook Challenge results. Was hoping to have that completed before April, but I will get the announcement up in the next week or so.
For today's prompt, write a small poem. Yesterday, you were tasked with writing a smell poem, but today, we're going small. The poem itself could be concise, but it could also be focused on something or someone small.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Later this month, be sure to check out the 2nd annual Writer's Digest Poetry Writing Virtual Conference with four great presentations put on by award-winning poets covering a variety of topics, including how to put together poetry collections and bring fresh insight to familiar ideas.

Here’s my attempt at a Small Poem:
"blueberries"
my favorites are the small ones
because they have a little more
kick to them than the large ones
which are sweeter and less sour
