Here is the winning seadna:
"YEAST," by Pamela L. King
Fairies visit the old vineyard,
vaulting in colorful capes.
Before fleeing for the garden,
they shake dust on golden grapes.
Golden grapes mashed in oak barrels
begin the journey to wine.
The vintner smiles with fey visage
as he tends the vintage vine.
Small children magically waken
to warm aromas from stoves.
Eldritch dust makes life less leaden
when we enjoy leavened loaves.
Within yeast dwell tiny creatures--
chemically reacting cells.
Add to sugar; soon they're bubbling
with branching and budding bells.
