Greg Cope White, a former sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, is a film and TV writer, producer, and author. Greg is known for his memoir, The Pink Marine. Now developed into a series for Netflix by Sony and Norman Lear, Greg is a writer and EP on the show. After Greg’s time in the USMC, he moved to Los Angeles and found his break working for Mr. Lear. This series marks the third Norman Lear show on which Greg has written. His writing credits include three Netflix original films as well as shows for HBO, CBS, NBC, Disney, Fox, Sony and Comedy Central. Greg is highly motivated about LGBTQ and veteran’s rights. He is published in the military journal Zero Dark Thirty and is one of the featured veterans in the PBS docuseries American Veteran. An avid cook, his popular blog about his adventures in the kitchen led to him contributing to Huffington Post and hosting a season of Unique Sweets for Food Network. He mentors for the Writer’s Guild Foundation’s program for military veterans who are on their path to write TV and film.
