John Bateson

John Bateson has written five nonfiction books. Four were published by academic presses and one by Scribner. All grew out of his 16 years as executive director of a nationally-certified crisis intervention and suicide prevention center in the San Francisco Bay Area. His books include Suicide (Johns Hopkins University Press), The Education of a Coroner (Scribner); The Last and Greatest Battle (Oxford University Press); The Final Leap (University of California Press); and Building Hope (Praeger Press).
