Dr. Miffie Seideman is the author of The Grim Reader: A Pharmacist’s Guide to Putting Your Characters in Peril (Indiana University Press, Red Lightning Books). An ICU pharmacist for over 20 years, she taught about medication errors and drug safety to other health professionals. Now, she teaches authors how to realistically write drug scenes that put their characters in peril. An avid triathlete, Miffie spends countless hours training in the arid deserts of Arizona devising her fantasy, mixing demons and betrayal with hope.
