Sam McAlister

Sam McAlister releases her book Scoops with Oneworld Publications on September 13. In the book, she reveals for the very first time the story behind the infamous BBC Newsnight interview with Prince Andrew, as well as secrets to the trade from her own experiences in the newsroom over the years. Sam was the first in her family to go to university, before training to be a criminal barrister. As a single mum, she decided her real passion was in news. Now BAFTA-nominated for her work with BBC Newsnight, McAlister’s hard-won exclusives have shaped the public conversation. She lives in London.
